I met Jay when I was living in Kansas City, MO during my first year of college. He was always really nice and supportive of me and he’s also one of the most stylish skaters I’ve ever had the pleasure of skating with. Please check out his site to see what projects he’s been up to lately.

Pecha Kucha was nice enough to ask me to speak at their event this week. It’s Thursday from 6:30-10pm at Bridge. The event is free and I’m going to be showing some photo projects I’ve been working on over the past few years having to do with various teenage-related events and subcultures.

I got to see the “New Photography 2010″ show at the MOMA while I was in New York last month. There was really great work in the show from Roe Ethridge, Elad Lassry, Alex Prager, and Amanda Ross-Ho. I was especially taken with the work by Roe Ethridge though.
