Niki Kelce and I went to high school together, and she’s a very talented illustrator. (Illustration by Niki.)
My friend Randy Ploesser got permission to skate at the amazing City Museum in St. Louis. Our good friend David Uthus edited this montage of what went down that day. He asked me to make the titles for the montage too. Thanks David! You can also see photographer Sam McGuire’s wonderful photos from that day in the current issue of The Skateboard Mag.
My good friend Sarah Sandman and her collaborator Melissa Small were asked to give a talk at Syracus University recently, and they sat down for this nice interview with Colab while they were there. (Image courtesy of Colab.)
One of my best friends Patrick Hunt made this video of a beautiful little girl in Mongolia, receiving one of the buttons I made for his students while he was teaching english there. Thanks Patrick.
Dallas Clayton is the creator of An Awesome Book, among other awesome things. Please check out his new site. (Image by Dallas.)
Michael Leon makes wonderful work, and he’s just launched a new site to showcase it. I’ve been following his work for years now, and it’s really nice to see it all in one place. (Image by Michael.)
I’ve been a huge fan of Geoff McFetridge for a long time, and I was really excited to see that he was part of the Where the Wild Things Are movie. It looks amazing. (Titles by Geoff.)
One of my best friends Sarah Sandman just launched her new site. She’s a super talented artist and designer, among other things. Good job Sarah, keep it up! Speaking of new sites, be sure to also check out her lovely friend and partner in crime Melissa Small’s new site. (Image by Sarah and Melissa.)
Jason Crombie of Wooooo Magazine fame got the latest Pretty Skateboards board I designed reviewed on Vice Magazine’s site, and by a fireman no less. Thanks Jason! (Photo by Jason.)
