D.I.Y. America’s just put up the new episode of their great video series “Skate and Create.” This one focuses on photography, and has one of my favorite photographers Tobin Yelland in it.

My friend Kyle Beachy has a very nice interview on the Chicago Center for Literature and Photography site. Way to go Kyle!

Lori D is incredibly nice and a very talented artist who lives in Portland, OR. Here is her most recent animation reel. I love it!

I just went to the Los Angeles, CA area to see my good friend Rob Tweedie, and I had the pleasure of visiting Family Books. They’ve got tons of great titles by some of my favorite artists, including Mike Mills and Deanna Templeton. I picked up his new documentary “Does Your Soul Have a Cold?” as well as her new zine “Your Logo Here.” (Image by Family Books.)

Peter Pranschke is a friend and an incredibly nice and talented person. He has a new show opening Friday, January 22nd from 6-9pm at PSTL Gallery here in St. Louis, MO. I’ll be in New York this weekend and can’t make it, but you should if you can! (Drawing by Peter.)
Anne Wolf has made a lovely new short film, check it out. Plus, my good friend Willow Robin got to edit it. Awesome!
I’ve been a huge fan of Geoff McFetridge for a long time, and I was really excited to see that he was part of the Where the Wild Things Are movie. It looks amazing. (Titles by Geoff.)
Jon Lutjens is an old friend, and he makes wonderful work both visually and audibly. The video for his band’s new single is amazing, with wonderful direction from Tony Gaddis and Andrew Cutraro. (Photo by Andrew.)
