I had the pleasure of doing this illustration for SBC Skateboard Magazine out of Canada. It’s in the newest issue, for a story about female skateboarders.

Jimmy “Porous Walker” Dimarcellis is very talented and hilarious and I’m so glad others are recognizing this about him too. Please watch this great video about him from the people at The Creative Lives.

Julia Gualtieri is a friend of mine who is awesome and up to all sorts of great things. Here’s a fantastic animation that the high school kids she works with made. Poof!
Megan Whitmarsh seems like an incredibly nice person and I really enjoy her work. Here’s a great video about her.

Marina Abramovic had the pleasure of sitting with my friend Emily Sogn at the MOMA this past Friday. Way to sit Emily! It was super fun watching it all happen live too. MOMA designer and good friend August Heffner took this great picture.
My best friend Patrick Hunt told me about David Foster Wallace’s work awhile back. I’m a huge fan, and I was happy to read this on The New Yorker’s site about the work being done to preserve his archive.

I’ve been a big Evan Hecox fan for a long time. He’s the talented mind behind the amazing graphics at Chocolate Skateboards, and it was really fun watching him draw in this nice video.
Please visit The Museum of Modern Art in New York to see and be part of Marina Abramovic’s amazing performance piece “The Artist is Present.” If you can’t make it there’s also streaming video to give you a taste of it.

Along with film and video, David also dabbles in photography. Lately it’s been exclusively with his cell phone.
